Krause Ranch Origins

Gary and Gwen Krause

Passionate about land, water and wildlife presercation, ranch owner Gary Krause helped initiate the Volunteer Testing Program of the TNRCC (Texas National Resource Conservation Commission) and has served as one of the certified water testers for the state. Conservation and education are primary goals for Gary and Gwen Krause.

As a child accompanying his USDA Field Agent father as he worked hill country ranches, six-year-old Gary announced, "I'm going to own my own ranch so I can go whenever I want." By 1983 the owner of Intercontinental Training, an international management training and consulting company, began purchasing the properties that today comprise Krause Ranch.
